Beef and Lamb Meat balls

Add PYF to your own meatball recipe but here is how I made mine. 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb of lamb 
  • 1 lb of beef 
  • 3 tbspn of PYF oil  
  • 4 tbspn bread crumbs or chickpea bread crumbs (for low carb) 
  • 1 or 2 tbspn of salt (season to your desire) I like 2 tbspn 
  • ½ cup egg whites or you can use 2 eggs 
  • ½ or ¾ cup of diced green onions 

 Mix beef and lamb gently before adding spices so meat is blended well then add other ingredients.  

I bake mine bake mine covered at 375 for 30 mins and uncovered for 20 mins depending on size of meat ball. I add mine to the sauce but you can pan fry for a crust just half the time above and add to the pan for high heat turning on sides. 

This pairs well with a semi-homemade or homemade marina, alfredo, or gravy sauce.

Mine is with Marina over spaghetti squash for low carb but it is amazing with any pasta or bread. Let me know how you used PYF.  

  • Marina/Alfredo  – pasta or spaghetti squash 
  • Gravy – grain or cauliflower rice Or mash potatoes or cauliflower mash potatoes  
  • Veggies -  roasted, air fried, or stir fry
