To Prep: In a zip lock bag, place protein and marinade into bag, seal and marinate overnight. in a pinch, 2 hours before cooking, marinate at room temperature until you are ready to cook.
For the Marinade and Salad Dressing:
- 1 cup fish sauce
- 1 or 2 tsp of pepper sauce
- 3 garlic
- 3 tsp. ginger
- 1 cup of cilantro
- ½ cup of chopped green onion
For the Salad:
- ½ cup of thinly sliced red onion
- Goes well with mix green lettuce or romaine or iceberg
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
- ½ shredded carrots
- Thinly sliced cucumbers (optional)
- ½ cup of tomatoes your way
- Meat (beef, shrimp)
- Mix and separate in half
